A third party testing facility has demonstrated that the products do not meet Canadian flammability requirements as outlined in the <i>Hazardous Products (Carpet) Regulations</i> under the <i>Canada Consumer Product Safety Act</i>. <br><br>The rugs could easily catch fire and burn if exposed to a flame or other ignition source such as a lighter, match, candle, or spark from a fireplace, posing a burn risk and fire hazard to consumers. <br><br>Neither Health Canada nor Springs Canada, Inc. has received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these area rugs. <br><br>For more information on the hazard, see Health Canada: <img src="images/newwindow.gif" alt="Next link will take you to another Web site" width="18" height="13"> <a title=" Carpets" href="http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/cps-spc/house-domes/decor/carpets-tapis-eng.php"> Carpets</a>.
